Analytics consulting for teams who need their tracking to actually hold up.

Scarlette & Tadhg Consulting helps teams implement, audit, and govern their GA4, GTM, and Adobe Launch setups, so decisions get made on data you can actually trust.

This site is home to Tagging Health Check for GA4, GTM and Adobe Launch, our free-to-start auditing application. Connect your Google account and get a starting allotment of audits across all three tools at no cost; need more after that, simple credit top-ups keep you going. Every audit is read-only, nothing is changed in your account.

Why tracking implementation and audits matter

Every marketing budget decision, every board report, and every attribution model your team relies on is only as good as the data underneath it. A broken UTM parameter, a duplicated pixel, or a consent mode misconfiguration can silently distort the numbers everyone downstream treats as fact, for months, before anyone notices.

Implementation is the foundation: GA4 events firing correctly, GTM triggers scoped the way you think they are, consent signals actually reaching your tags. Get it wrong at setup, and every report built on top of it inherits the same error, compounding as more teams start relying on it.

Audits are how you catch drift before it costs you. Tracking that was correct at launch rarely stays correct. Tags get added without review, properties get migrated, consent requirements change, and nobody's watching until a number looks wrong, a regulator asks a question, or a stakeholder loses trust in the dashboard. A regular audit catches the gap while it's still cheap to fix.

Why this matters

It wasn't that long ago I was asked to look at a potential client's Google Analytics. Every single ecommerce transaction was being recorded in the page URL, unencrypted: first name, last name, credit card number, security code, full address. Thousands of transactions, full identities, sitting there for anyone to find. It came through as a pageview, so it never surfaced in any report anyone was looking at.

People make mistakes. Data collection is entropic. No matter how clean your setup is today, it's bound to drift. A developer pushes an old tag. A pixel gets added without review. Nobody's watching until something breaks, or worse, until a regulator or plaintiff's attorney finds it first.

That drift is what our audits catch early, and what our governance engagements keep in check long after launch.
